"Woahhh this was my first time here. Loved the ambiance and the food. Yum! Best Brunch with my Besties.. A lot of varieties of food. Greta, Chicken salad, Garlic , BLT, Prawn and mushroom. Not to forget the Hot chocolate- Bowl version which was filling"

"The beer tonight’s choice was Juliper. Comes in a glass designed for the beer. The chips are always excellent. The beer on offer is good. We don’t in particular enjoy Wheat beer but it’s available. The eggplant dish was disappointing and promised more but fell short. Spend a bit more time preparing your eggplant please. And cut the end of the egg plant off. Grill it or roast prior. It just didn’t cut it. Hate being picky. I wanted to complain but sometimes you just can’t be bothered. It was a fun night and well the staff were chilled and happy. To make the point it’s a score of three. Service is very good overall and personable. Some basic training from management and tips on serving meals may help. However to be fair that was not the usual experience. The atmosphere is well presented and warm. No complaints there. It’s a great authentic atmosphere. We have been to Leuven many times over the last few years. Tonight I just didn’t want a steak or the croquettes which are always well done or the meatballs which are very tasty. Leuven, take note, Vegetarian dishes are a requirement these days. Bit more prep on the eggplant and you’ll crack it. We will be calling to discuss. Kind regards."

"I CANNOT tell you how good this place is!! Everything is perfect. If you looking for a place that feels like home you 've found it. Don 't walk, run. I got the steak, it was so amazing . 'Chefs kiss '. I have never found a better cooked steak. Just had to buy the chef a drink. Nothing better than a great cooked steak. My husband got a beef and bacon burger, pure bliss. My daughter, as fussy as she is loved her hot dogs and chips."

"Super disappointed with my visit today. The service was really poor and there were heaps of staff, so can’t really blame covid. I ordered the Avocado on toast for $20, and was served a soggy piece of bread with two slices of tomato and a bit of avocado on top. The menu said it came with duqqa and “crumbled feta”. The amount of feta I received was no more than half a tea spoon, with the total amount shown on my fork in the photo. I told the waiter that I was a little disappointed as this was $20 and probably cost them less than 5 to make. He just rolled his eyes at me and walked away. Really sad about this visit as I used to think the Spruce Goose was pretty good! If I could leave a zero star review, I would."
