"Superb party they hosted for my mum’s 60th, staff were amazing, food was excellent and a great night was had by all. Child friendly as well, they looked after all the kids so well. Thanks again guys"

"Ordered 4 meals tonight and yet again one of the bag of chips and a portion of mushy peas was missing. Every time we order from here we always have to check the bag to make sure every thing is there. Unfortunately tonight one of our meals included a omelette and we thought the chips were in with the omelette and didn't realise the chips were missing until we got home. Can't be bothered calling to complain anymore as all they do is apologise and tell you to come back to get your missing items, which I have done before but really can't be bothered anymore and am now just going to take my business elsewhere."

"My husband and I had the most amazing meal last night at the Hesketh Arms in Rufford. The special starter of Sardines was very tasty and well presented, the tomato salad was outstanding using a variety of different coloured fresh tomatoes which really enhanced the dish. We both decided on steak for our main course my husband had the rib eye, and I had the fillet, they were both cooked to our preference of medium rare and they were both perfect and tasted beautiful, my husband had the special apple and cinnamon pie desert, and I had ice cream both delicious. The staff are always very professional, and nothing is too much trouble. We can highly recommend the Hesketh in Rufford and cannot wait to see you all again soon. The Johnson’s"

"Went into for a quick coffee on 5pm while waiting for hubby to finish work. I can only praise the two young girls working they were the most beautiful chatty respectful girls and considering that they were closing around 17.30 clock I didn't feel rushed at all. also one of them had to deal with an arrogant man who vouched his opinions in a very rude way over covid. she did it completely professionally well! I'll be back."

"Absolutely wonderful Chinese it is a bit from the city or it would get more trade, the workers are more than helpful when it comes to making light changes to their eating to make sure they enjoy their eating. can not eat especially the shredded chili beef or salt and pfeffer all that tbh have eaten from here for almost two years and have no complaining, therefore it is the regular Saturday evening withdrawal."

"Called in for lunch. Food very average. Service was unfriendly from someone who would benefit from some customer service training. What yous havin '? Very unwelcoming. Moved off a wobbly table to one slightly less wobbly and had to put my coat back on as pub was freezing. Couple on a neighbouring table seemed to have the same experience so not just us!"
