"Live more than an hour away from this restaurant, but on several occasions, my family and I have driven to this restaurant to enjoy their food and cosy, authentic-Chinese kitchen atmosphere. You can tell from the scents and the taste, that the dishes are all made there. My mother, being Northern Chinese, found the food deeply nostalgic of her hometown, and calls the place the best she has tried in Australia. I suggest booking a table in advance, as it can be crowded at times. Staff are attentive and well-trained in their job, and also quite friendly."

"Haven't been to Jolly for years, and we went back on Friday night, and the foods are still good and friendly services. We missed our fun and lovely waiter Kenny, who has been working there for a long time. Hope he will return soon. "The best japanese food i ever had in sydney (i mean, locally this place is amazing for us). Food was great, staffs were friendly and the place is homie. We ordered 1 set of unagi don (great portion, including eel rice, miso soup and salmon sashimi) for 28$. Takoyaki is great, too. Could have ordered warm sake but, the meal was great. Highly recommended"
