"My husband and I ate brunch here and were so impressed, we returned for dinner. I enjoyed the haddock sautéed in tomato butter with carrot and zucchini pasta in a sauce that was incredible. My husband loved his short ribs and lobster. Desert was equally perfect!! Caramel creme brûlée with milk chocolate gelato and apple fritter. Don't miss this place when in Charlottetown Great job Chef!!!"

"Two people for breakfast cost $47 tip! Cafe latte was quite good, but the coffee was too weak. The omelettes were assembled with a pre-made egg pancake"--too round, thin and perfect, kind of dry and not nearly 3 whole eggs--then rolled with the fillings inside. Never seen anything like it. It wasn't very hot or fresh. The bacon was wafer thin, yet tasty. The potato hash comes with delicious caramelized onions and maple syrup. While the food was decent, the price is to steep for breakfast."

"Delightful morning outside, table service by the excellent Ryan, coffee, yogurt and fruit for my husband, a vegetable sandwich on focaccia for me, along with a flat white (for him) and dry cider (for me). A relaxing, pastoral setting for people of all ages, dogs, etc. Delish and just what we needed!"

"Stayed at the hotel for our first wedding anniversary. The romance package with food wasn't worth it with basic fish and chips type foods on the restaurant menu so we just paid for the room and ate elsewhere. If you are the type to indulge in fine dining I'd recommend heading somewhere else. The bar tender at the bar was lovely and a great conversationalist. The only reason for 3 Stars is that chambers was very dissappointing. The server seated us for breakfast asked me what I'd like to drink and left. Didn't ask my husband and just brought him a red rose tea, which he doesn't drink. Poured my green tea and had a hair in it, I left it aside and grabbed a cup from the next table. That cup was dirty, annoyed I used it anyway. Green tea brand was terrible. The server was slightly rude and dismissive of our breakfast choices really didn't feel welcoming. Asked for well cooked eggs, and the yolks were still half runny. Literally writing my review from my seat in the restaurant and my tea is already cold. Weve stayed at other Rodd locations and many times. This one wasn't on the top of the list for food and service. We'll stay again but definitely will never eat here again."

"I just came back from PEI and had one of the best culinary experiences of my life here. I was last case, but sat only at the bar and had a little nibble... this time we ordered the crab cakes that die for... and while we were ready to order, the server shared the special of the night that was supposed to be PEI halibut with smoked potatoes and roasted vegetables. The halibut came with a salsa and chimmichuri. This court almost brought me to tears. I couldn't believe the taste! Unbelievable. This is a must when you visit PEI! Walkability: Near all Charlottetown hotels. 5 minutes walk from Holman Grand"
