"Family Sunday lunch for my husband’s 70th. Six adults and four children. First class experience. Wonderful fresh roast beef lunch for most of us, two children had a roast chicken dinner and there was one burger. Lots of vegetables and nice gravy. Puddings were equally gorgeous. All cooked to perfection- delivered in a reasonable time given they were packed out and short staffed. The lady taking the orders was friendly, helpful and efficient. Good relaxed atmosphere. I’m on a gluten free diet and I was very well catered for. Definitely will return- felt like a real find. No wonder they were so busy. My husband and I will stay there next time we’re down visiting family."

"Fantastic eating, I had the lamb that was marinated for 36 hours, it was delicious. the bratkartoffeln and the sweet were just excellent. I have put in the regular many sauces like minze sauce on my food, the meal was so delicious, I had not. I am coeliac, so I need gluten-free food, the cook made me gluten-free gravure and made me a special dessert. I'm looking forward to going back."
