"We learned about this place from the ladies in the pool at Trailer Estates (right down the road). We ate here 4 times during the 2 weeks we were here. Parmesian oysters were wonderful. The clam strips were so good, I had them twice. We happened to be there one nigth when prime rib was the special it was OK but I've had better I'd stick to seafood here. The scallops were good but small. We love seeing Pearl come by with meals the last nigth we were there she was dressed in a coconut bra and grass skirt a first for us. We did have to wait even early in the evening from 5 to 45 minutes. But there were a few chairs outside which made it easier and we listend to the outdoor music while waiting."

"Like most locals I've loved this place for over twenty years, but I was so disappointed in the last philly I got there at the 34th St location. The meat was poor quality and way too chopped up. It tasted nothing like it used to. It had very little flavor. It was just off and tasted like fast food, not real food like it used to. The fries weren't very good either and they're one of the things I've always loved too. Even the bread was worse than it used to be. I hope they get the quality back up to par. I know times are tough, but this isn't a cheap meal. It's reasonable for what you get, or what you used to get, but for what it costs there a lot better options now. I feel like I lost one of my favorite places to eat, and I will certainly not being telling people to go here like I used to do."

"Been eating here for over a decade the pizza is really great! I love the cozy booths/ambiance inside I really really hope they never remodel (it 's a bit dated in there) and decide to modernize the interior, as it would be a shame. Anyhow, I felt compelled to finally leave a review because I was recently there and not in a pizza mood, so I got the chicken marsala....and WOW! It is SO good, I 'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Love this place it is an island staple!"
