"Bought 3 empanadas to-go. The curry, chorizo, and spinach empanadas are excellent! These are probably the best empanadas I have ever tasted—-at least for now. I’ll definitely go back to get some more and try the other varieties."

"This is a tiny little independent shop at the corner of G 12th surrounded by all the big chain coffee places. Go here instead! Delicious fresh coffee; efficient pleasant staff. Seating is tight but I really like the couple of outside tables sheltered under the building ledge for comfortable people watching out of the sun/rain/crowd. They have a small selection of cookies and biscotti; just added empanadas according to the sign. I go for the coffee; a place that serves up real coffee with a minimum of people in line for fake “flopparapachino” sugar bombs."

"An overall great experience with great food. It seems like a place that would be lots of fun to go to with a group for dinner. There is a platform with a keyboard so perhaps there are performers. Otherwise, the service was fantastic as my server was friendly and helpful. Food also came out promptly but my smoky margarita took a while (but it was quite good). Unfortunately, they were out of their house-made spicy marg mix which I was looking forward to for Happy Hour. Regardless, the mushroom taco was an easy 4.5/5 while the cauliflower taco was a 4/5. The chili was great it was a solid 4.7/5. Definitely worth the visit and bring a group for Happy Hour/dinner for the best experience (I’d assume)."

"Our server was excellent and attentive, but unfortunately, the food was just okay. We ordered empanadas as a starter, which I felt wasn’t made to order. We got them fairly quickly, but they were just warm and a little soggy when we got them. Also, when we received our plates, the mashed potatoes were cold, not room temperature, but cold. The rest of the food was good, but I don’t think it was worth it."
