"Visited the club for a 90’s night which in itself was good. The actual problem was the bar. Whilst I can appreciate the bar would be and was busy the running of the bar was a joke. The staff were tripping over each other and annoying people by not actually serving in any kind of waiting order. After waiting for some time to place a large drinks order I was told the card machine wasn’t working. In actual fact the card machine was working, the server just couldn’t be bothered to use it. Terrible service. This is the point that I decided to leave and went for a drink in the spread instead. Quite clearly the club isn’t interested in taking my money, that’s fine. I won’t be returning."

"This is the best place for a Sunday dinner without question. Proper home cooked food which is delicious, a great choice from the menu with fantastic service from the staff. Plenty of vegetables are brought to the table for you to help yourself to. A lovely little traditional village pub, great atmosphere and dog friendly, with a great choice of guest ales on tap and also serving the infamous Burton Bridge DBA. What more could you need?"

"Excellent food. Due to a misunderstanding we did not have a booking. The manager fitted us in a bit later and the food was very good, hot and freshly cooked. Clearly a popular place and well patronised. I would definitely recommend . A large car park at the back but it was very full and looked like it was being used as a space for car sales which was a bit disconcerting. I didnt want to come out and found my vehicle sold!"

"This is a great place to eat. We had soup and the curry for starters. These were full of taste. Mains 3 rib eye and the chicken. The steak were done to a turn. Huge plate of food with great taste. Best meal out since lockdown."
