"ZERO stars. Burnt to a crisp black, hard as a rock, and cold. And even worse, no response via phone or chat. So, no luck with replacement either. Waste of time and hard earned money. This was allowed to be served? We know what wood fire pizza is, and this is amateur. If we could even chew it, it would make us sick. So let's cook dinner now, after waiting over an hour for garbage. First and only other time we tried the pizza, it was good. Your 2nd and last chance was tonight. No ability to talk to anyone is beyond the pale. I agree with other reviewer, it's robbery/theft. Obviously, customer satisfaction falls below profit margins at this place. We worked in yard all day and just wanted something decent to eat without cooking. Don't buy here, if you have that reasonable expectation. UPDATE: The owner asserts that he contacted me. That is untrue. I checked my email, texts, spam folders, voicemail, missed calls, call screener list, etc. Nothing. Maybe it was by carrier pigeon. Doubly insulted."

"The food is good quality and cooked right. I took off a star because today I paid $1.50 extra for strawberries and strawberry butter and laughed at the amount of strawberries that was actually put on my son’s waffle and no strawberry butter was given at all. I’d just appreciate getting what I ordered and my money’s worth."

"This is one of those places I would try again, but I’d request a different waiter. Our waiter was just attentive enough to get us through our meal and that’s it. The couple behind us had excellent service with a super friendly guy waiting on them. If we make it back, I’ll request him. The foodmy husband got the French dip with duck fat fries. The fries were probably the best I’ve ever eaten. My dish was subpar, leaving me extremely dissatisfied. I had the pan seared chicken over mashed potatoes and it wasn’t a good choice. The flavor was lacking, and my mashed potatoes were crunchy and flavorless. Again, I would try it again but next time with different service and a different meal choice."

"I never had a hot Italian beef sandwich in chicago. I've always tried one. her northside hero sandwich is exactly that. I tried it for the first time today, and I can certainly say it's one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. if they love spicy eating, the chicago style giardiniera on the sandwich is just one of the things that makes it really pop. besides eating, the staff are also incredibly friendly. many thanks for a great first impression! will definitely come back!"
