"Great vegetarian place, good set-up for take-outs during COVID-19. We've been coming to this place for 10+ yrs now, and still love it. Our favorites are their House Special Rice Clay Pot and Vietnamese Crepe. We also enjoy their Curry Vegetables. It comes with a generous serving of the curry sauce, to which we add more fresh vegetables when we get home. We can eat that for 2-3 meals! Actually, all of their portions are generous for the price. Their take-out set-up during COVID-19 feels pretty safe and efficient. Most customers seem to order online and stop in very briefly for pick-up. Thank you for providing us a good, safe, delicious vegetarian option!"

"Great place ! I would say old school downtown cafe with amazing espresso, good sandwiches, cool 'chicken bake ' and empanadas, and crepes. What I would like to note specially, it is atmosphere maintained by great people, which are really adding additional value to half hour of my life when I have some time to have cup of espresso. What else nice music maybe just regular radio, not sure), cool collaboration program with local art club: completely different works from watercolor to photos are continuously taking some place on walls of cafe and in my heart and my Instagram). Not big choice of deserts comparing with cafe in Vienna or SF/Moscow, but I like mideastern 'baklava ' with my espresso."

"After about a decade of eating here, I was very pleased to see that not only was it still here, it had been updated and the quality and quantity of food has remained unchanged. I have read some of the reviews of other guests complaining that it was changed somehow for the worse, however, that is all in their heads as this is still hands down the best taqueria in the bay area! I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone I ever meet who will be in the area for any length of time. If you have not eaten here, you MUST give it a try! We ordered the Carne asada chimichanga and super nachos (pictured)."

"If you're into old fashioned cooking and down home country style this is the place to go for your fish. The laid back atmosphere is just the thing to feel at home. Go on the right night and you'll even have live entertainment along with the wonderful food. Can't wait for my next visit!"

"I'm here twice now, for the first time with my (not) vegan friend who found it looking for a restaurant, we could go for our monthly dinner date. We have been offered a separate vegan menu to choose from and have all our common meal with Yucca rootries, vegan Calamari, Plantains Sikil P'ak, vegan empanadas. Service was excellent. So much that we went back a few weeks later with friends from the city. And then I ordered a Togo meal for my partner and I. Very recommended."
