"We booked a table for Friday night the restaurant was busy but not full. After ordering our drinks we were ready to order which went smoothly. It was then an hour before we received any food by which time we had been to the bar to order more drinks as no one had been to the table to ask. The meals were good and some a little different to what you see elsewhere. I ordered the mixed grill which was substantial but I had been asked how I wanted the steak cooked. I appreciate it was only a small piece of meat but when I found it hidden under the gammon it certainly wasn’t as requested but then as it was so thin it would never be medium rare. The other dishes on our table were all chicken based and were well received. We looked at the desert menu but as we were all quite full nothing on there was tempting enough to encourage us to make room. It’s a good venue but like many others in the industry it appears to be short staffed and those they do have need to have time give the customers the attention they deserve. Finally I don’t really like the fact they are setting tables for breakfast while we are eating our evening meal."

"Been using this chip shop for years but as of late it’s gone down hill, and rapidly. Chips were undercooked and barely any fish left inside what only can be described as a ball of batter. Staff very rude and blunt. Inside needs a face lift as there’s a lot of dead flies around the window. Pictures to follow shortly. Thanks"

"The food was absolutely delicious and would love to taste it again. 4 stars only because after a server accidentally dropped something into my full wine glass which broke and splashed wine onto my wife's suede jacket the follow up was not great. It was a genuine accident and the server was profusely upset and apologetic but we weren't offered a replacement for the lost wine nor means to repair the wine on the coat. However, I would encourage my friends to visit this small, intimate restaurant and enjoy the lovely tapas."
