"After realising that we had not ended up at the restaurant we had planned on visiting and then receiving English breakfast tea instead of Chinese tea (we'll put that one down to miscommunication) we weren't sure if we should stay. We had already ordered so we decided to stay and we're glad that we did. The entire meal was delicious. Two dishes that stood out as 'best evers' were the fried duck in plum sauce and the pork ribs in Peking sauce. Both had no bones in them which added to the value. The duck skin was beautifully crisp and meat on both dishes tender and flavoursome. All other dishes were very nice too - prawn crackers, chicken and sweet corn soup and the green vegetables in oyster sauce.We ended up in Cowra for the night to avoid the floods in Forbes. We will strongly consider travelling out of our way to Cowra on our next trip just to eat here again."
