"This hidden gem upstairs in la Zenia is a great mix of British and Belgian dishes, English breakfast, chicken and chips, toasties, gourmet Belgian fare, and wonderful waffles of all kinds, with a dessert menu to die for. "Busy service with one poor waitress. Perhaps that was the cause but we waited for over an hour for our breakfast food and it was not good. Poached eggs were like rubber and my wife’s scrambled eggs were similar. Not a place I would recommend or return to ever."

"Visited Baxters on Sunday for the Carvery which was 6.95 euros for one course. On offer were beef (slightly over cooked), pork, turkey and ham. The vegetables were un-inspiring, carrots, limp cabbage and peas out of a jar! Also available were mashed potatoes and hard undercooked, tasteless roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and gravy. The meal was ok but I have had better and I felt it was over priced. The staff were friendly and courteous and the restaurant it's self was pleasant."

"After our first visit during spring 2019 we decided we definitely wanted to come back due to high quality food and great service. Coming back in July: still friendly and serviceminded staff. Food and drinks are excellent for the eye as well as the stomach! Make sure you visit La Amuze we need this type of restaurant!"
