"Lovely staff, girl on the street showed us the menu and was not one bit pushy. The waiter was very kind as well. Food was ok. Not bad but nothing outstanding, One thing that put us off was we were in the porch area and there was customers smoking. This is completely alien to my kids so they felt ill from the smell. Not the resturaunts fault but something for customers to be aware of."

"The last time we came to praia was good. Unfortunately, it looks like the place was taken over by new management and it was pretty bad. Maybe it wasn't our taste, but I had fish and it wasn't good. the service was also everywhere and I was brought my main thing before the starter and my wife was totally missed. Don't come back."

"Had a wedding in the area and booked this hotel online to stay in as close by. Was pleasantly surprised when we arrived as some hotels in the past have not lived up to their advertisement. The hotel was lovely and clean, staff in all...areas extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is located right beside the main strip with shops, restaurants, taxi rank and most importantly the beach on it's doorstep. The buffet breakfast was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again."

"We have eaten here for 3 years in December. the personal is very friendly. all eating is freshly cooked, even my son is happy to eat here, he is a freches eat! worth visiting when they stay in praia da rocha."

"A bit of a mixed visit to this place. The location is very nice on the harbourside. It was visually the nicest restaurant of many in this area and also the busiest. This meant that we somewhat shared a table with 4 strangers. We had a separate table (butted against theirs) but if we 'd moved further away we wouldn 't have had the benefit of the parasol over us all. The service was terrible! The waiter was offhand and so rude I was almost expecting a film crew to appear and shout 'GotCha! '. I wanted to know what 'Baby Squid Algarvia Style ' meant and his reply was 'Google it '. I did actually have that dish and it was okay but not great. It was pricey at 15.50 Euros. We also had the grilled sardines which again were okay. This was by far our worst meal experience in our nine days in Portugal. Location 5 stars, Food 3 stars and Service 1 star."
