"After my nine-month visit I ordered a scones and tee. I thought it was a nice place to take my son, but after the dame came to say I couldn't bring my own food for my baby. it was a rice cake and bio-crispen. after the explanation there was no baby food for my young on the menu, she said if she did it for me, she would have to do it for everyone. when the lady cleaned the table, she took my tee I wasn't finished with. is not visited again and would not recommend other families. other better places to visit in the opposite."

"We booked a day ahead for dinner at this popular pub which we would recommend. Lovely historic pub with low beams, some of which apparently dates back to 14th century). Really friendly bar and restaurant area. Great food great service. I had the pie of the day, steak and ale was pie of the day today), chips peas and gravy and my husband had the rump steak fajita which was great. We each had lager to wash it down which went down a treat on one of the hottest days of the year so far. They apparently have rooms available here which would be a great option for accommodation in the area. Only 8 miles from Oakham showground for Global Birdfair), and handy for other sightseeing in the area. There were some outside tables for drinks as well as a spacious and cool dining room."

"Lovely, friendly atmosphere with games books for the kids, along with great tea other drinks for the conisiour. They offer gluten and dairy free cakes too. One of the best tea houses in the area."

"Everything is just deep fried. Sausages straight into the fryer then burnt to a crisp on the grill, black pudding straight out of the freezer into the microwave then deep fryer. Money touched then straight back to food handling. Disgusting waste of £14. Straight in the bin"

"Our first visit, and definitely not our last! I had Henry VIII, poached eggs, chorizo, avocado hollandaise sauce on a muffin. It was superb, full of flavour. My husband had the Queens breakfast. We had a cup of Americano each, which had an excellent...flavour. Excellent service, really pleasant and welcoming staff. Thanks so much to everyone, we will be back"

"We had a full English breakfast and scones, was really yummy, coffee was good quality coffee beans ,friendly and helpful staff . Very fantastic mix of small independent traders offering big variety of items. Ps don't forget to try the ice cream My next visit I'll put some pictures"

"What a super little café/tearoom/coffee shop set amongst some excellent craft shops.. we just had time for tea and one of their delicious scones this time ..but we will be back..! the staff were super friendly nothing was too much trouble and we finished our afternoon of with a look round the different craft shops.. highly recommend this little gem.. "Called in for a coffee. Ended up having a cocktail each. Espresso for hubby. Limoncello and ice cream and Prosecco for me. Had a baguette for lunch. Everything top notch. Would certainly recommend this lovely spot. Prices very reasonable. We sat at the outside patio. If you are in Stamford for a visit call in. I'm sure you won't be disappointed."
