"Stayed at this delightful country B B for my husband's birthday. It was beautifully decorated and we stayed in The Dovecote which was very quaint with beautiful exposed beams. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our evening meal was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was cooked from scratch and so fresh with homemade bread, marmalade biscuits. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Also had a lovely welcome from their gorgeous dog Bakkus? Not sure it's spelt right!!!"

"Nice little place but 'toasties ' need work. We popped in for a coffee and a tea. Coffee was ok, not sure if it was Extract coffee and it wasn 't full of flavour but wasn 't bad. We ordered a mozzarella toastie and a cheese and ham. They we 're out of sourdough so went for brown. Nice doorstep style bread but they were warm sandwiches and not a proper toastie. My wife even took it packed to be done more and it still same back like a sandwich. Seems like the bread is toasted but the cheese and mozzarella were no where near melted. In fact they were luke warm. Shame, left this review so they can maybe improve them."

"One of the best places in the local area I have tried a few of the eateries before and found that they were either high in price and poor quality/quantity or the taste wasn 't there. Nikki 's does not disappoint! I ordered the breakfast bap and you could taste the different flavours of each item (sausage, bacon, egg, mushrooms with extra added black pudding) and the size of it truly was like a doorstop! This kept me going for the entire day! The café itself is a lovely little place and has a whole variety of food available (hot and cold) beautifully displayed. The staff are all lovely; bubbly, friendly and accommodating. Whether you live in the local area or are just passing through, I would certainly recommend Nikki 's as a 'must try ' place."
