"Been here before. Independent set in a large garden centre. Good comprehensive menu with a blackboard of special offers Various drinks. All food ordered was enjoyable and came to us within 15 minutes. Prices are quite reasonable Only complaint was it was drafty and intermittently cold when door opened, although we had seated ourselves away from the door. There was an overhead fan heater but that tended to cut in and out not retaining good level of wrath. Mind you it was a rather cold windy day!"

"Have now been a couple of times for breakfast/brunch to this delightful cafe. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good choices of food and drinks. I had poached eggs, Holland anise sauce on sourdough bread with crispy bacon. Simply delicious. Only problem is that because it’s a tiny cafe, if someone is talking loudly, you might as well be sitting at their table, which was slightly off putting. If your not worried, definitely worth a visit. Advise booking to avoid disappointment"

"The Horseshoe inn is a quaint very old inn. It does need smartening up and there are things that could be done by the staff to improve it, like remove the breakfast offering; cereals and the like after breakfast and not leave them on the table. They could also have more atmospheric music in the evening rather than radio 1. That said, it is quaint with atmosphere, you do step back in time. The food is very good, like you would expect from an old inn. Good country fare, they do offer burgers for those that want, fresh, well presented and good value. The Sunday lunch is especially good. Camila (supported by her team) is a really good cook, her pies are full of meat and all dishes are flavoursome, good portions and good value. we will be visiting again, and again."

"We found this great café on our way home from a trip to Eastbourne. We ordered a small English and small vegetarian breakfast. Both were, in my opinion, very generous. The chef, Matt ,also came out to check whether my wife was a vegetarian to assure her that he would cook it separately. The food was freshly cooked and the options for vegetarian breakfast included halloumi and spinach. Both my wife and I agreed that this was a good find and was one of the best breakfasts we ever had. We will definitely return when we are in the area again."
