"Always love going to the Aviary. Love the decor, the service is always lovely (although the service staff at the Bird Cage seemed a little confused with what they had on the menu) and the drinks are always good.<br>

Decided to try out some food:<br>

• fried chicken (w/ chilli, maple and sesame): fried chicken was bomb ???? (abit too sweet for my liking but I would definitely order it again)<br>
<br>
• pork and ginger gyoza (in hot and sour soup): gyoza was nice, could do with a little more filling and the soup (which was essentially tom yum soup) could do with a bit more kick ????<br>
<br>
• BBQ pork bao: loved the soft bao dough but thought they ruined the pork ???? (it was dried out from being fried)<br>
<br>
Overall the food was a bit of a hit and miss for me. The food is pricey for the portions you get but I will still always come back for the drinks!<br>"

"We have enjoyed the beef Pho at Viet Hoa in Perth for several years. Recently we went again to find the Pho is way too salty now. Once it was a perfect balance but now, all you taste in your mouth is salt. In addition...to this, what happened to the fresh basil that accompanied the Pho? This time we got a little bit of coriander. Perhaps you've changed Chefs but please reduce the salt."

"We dined here on Friday night for my birthday. We ordered from the a la carte menu- I ordered the Haloumi as an entree (amazing) and swordfish for main (also delicious). Fish cooked perfectly, great service- no complaints. The sides were amazing, we ordered the asparagus with almonds and the duck fat potatoes. With the card from The Entertainment Book the total bill- including bottles of wine- was under per head. <br/>Would definitely go back again."

"When you mention good French food in Perth, P’tite Ardoise Bistro always comes to mind.<br/ <br/ Their menu is filled with old-school staples like beef bourguignon, beef tartare, coc au vin and your good old beef fillet steaks; dishes that have been around for so long that they are now considered old-fashioned and boring.<br/ <br/ But boring doesn’t mean bland. "Zafferano was really good! I had the mushroom risotto and it is definitely one of the better ones I 've had in Perth! We came here for my brother 's 21st birthday dinner and the staff had arranged to have happy 21st birthday on his dessert. They were very professional and the restaurant was well polished. I found the price to portion size slightly high but the quality of food was undeniable. The birthday dessert was the Wildflower Honey Bavarios. The other dessert we tried was the Cookies and cream terrine a must for chocolate lovers."

"Went last night 26/2. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. Not sure if true Vietnamese but generous serves. Should have sat outside to appreciate the view. Decor was tasteful, service a little haphazard. Overall though will go again."
