"Came here on a Friday night looking for something jazz. it was hard to get in touch with the restaurant via the phone, but we sat without reservation. it turns out they don't play jazz every night. in the night there was a live band that played the top hits. while it was not jazz, we had a wonderful time with the band, and the voice of the singer was amazing. eating was average. we went with the fan favorite tostones con avocado. there was a generous amount of avocado over the tostones, but I just prefer to stone with garlic lemon sauce. we also have the escargot to share it was good, but nothing to write home. but the restaurant was very courteous with the food restrictions of my friend. we also have some tacos to share, but both the thunfish and the rock steak were only too salty and overpriced (3 tacos for $18! and I live in nyc). as for drinks if they like mojitos, they stick with the Guava flavor (or the classic). the passion fruit was much too sour and light. overall the experience was great, and our server were friendly. but I would adapt my expectations to eat here."

"Oui Oui! This place is fantastic. We’ve been coming since the ‘10s and have never been disappointed. Admittedly MIA has some great trendy places, but when you’re ready for a tried and true experience go to LeBouchon. It’s in a great location, staff is always great, usually French (adds to being at a FR restaurant), and the food is fantastic! Cozy, eclectic, authentic, and delicious; what else do you want?!"
