"My friends weren?t exaggerating when they said I?d have some of the best wings in my life. Not only were the old bay wings good, but the mozzarella sticks were as well. My only complaint would be the staff seems to forget about the customers dining at the tables away from the bar. I would still return though!"

"Delicious food! Salmon was cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing! Kids meal is decorated so cute! Server was wonderful! Only complaint was the wait was super long for a Wednesday evening with only a couple other people there. Definitely recommend though!"

"Disappointing visit. This location was once our favorite stop. I wouldn't mind the increased cost @66 per person) if the experience was great. The cocktails caipirinha) and salad bar were good. Although the restaurant was not crowded, the service was a little slow. Surprisingly, the mashed potatoes were not mashed completely and had a lumpy consistency. There was a time when there was a regular flow of meats being offered now it isn't. The cuts of meat were limited and not really seasoned. The well done cuts were dry fillet and top round) and some of the medium well cuts were chewy. Maybe they had a new cook. None the less, disappointing experience."

"Our server was lake and we had a reservation at 5:30. It took 35 minutes to get our cocktails. See our food order at 60 minutes after arrival. My short ribs came without the 3 other guests eating. Your food didn't come for another 15 minutes. We were often before a concert or an event in Kona. But will not go back when the service was waiting for Ling for mediocre food."

""Now I remember why we don 't eat out in fancy restaurants often. "Out of town relatives visiting Baltimore, we live in the DC area. I select Alma based on recommendation from WaPo critic Tom Sietsema. Sounds and looks great. On the way there, we joke that this is one of these small-plates-to-share places where you pay a lot, exit hungry, and get a burger on the way home. Great location, right near train station, on Charles Street, hip neighborhood. Easy street parking. Nice looking place upon entry, renovated older building. Warm reception upon entry. Our relatives arrived on time, we were 30 minutes late for our reservation, they were seated and had some appetizers. Wonderful catching up with our family. Server seemed sullen, mechanical, totally lacking in warmth. Had her script to recite and no more. Cold. Unwelcoming. Nice sangria, wine, cocktail selections. I had a house specialty cocktail that was elegant and delicious!Indeed it 's small plates. We ordered several to share. Food was quite good, and you get 2-4 spoonfuls of anything, including entrees. Quite pricey. $38/entree, $18 for 4-bite small plates. Server was primarily interested in moving us out of there. Finally hostess asked us to move along so they could turn the table, which was fair. Service was generally efficient, although I had to stop a server to ask for water immediately after they brought our entrees. We left hungry. We paid $150 for half the bill of $300, the relatives left the whole tip. Scores: location 5, atmosphere 5, service 3, food 3, value 1, for an overall score of 3. I would not return."
