"We'd been eager to try Cúrate for some time, and finally scored a reservation this past Sunday night. It was fantastic. Although our table wasn't ready at the time we reserved, our group of four grabbed a round of drinks at the bar. There was some confusion over one of the drinks and they were completely out of one of the local beers on tap, but the bartender was exceedingly kind and helpful toward making sure everyone received a drink they felt good about. That theme of excellent service continued at our table, where our server couldn't have been more helpful and engaging while guiding us through the menu. We ordered several plates and they each arrived promptly, which was especially impressive at such a busy time in the evening. Some of the standouts were: chistorra chips patatas bravas pincho moruno vieiras Overall, it was an outstanding experience. We totally see why reservations are so hard to grab here. Even so, we'll try our best to return on our next visit to Asheville. The food, service, and ambiance are truly out of this world!"

"Love the coffee and pastry fare, but not the best place to get work done. The music is pretty loud and even headphones don’t drown it out. A bit chaotic, but fine for meeting up with friends. Also wish the upstairs space could be utilized for seating. It’s been used for storage for as long as I have been visiting.The outdoor area is sunny and good for people watching."

"The atmosphere was noteworthy — warm and lively without being crowded, a fire going on the patio, a nice volume level. A wonderful space for a date night or celebration dinner. The service was good — what you’d expect for an establishment of that caliber. The food was, sadly, a serious letdown — we tried 6 dishes and found only 1 of them to be worth ordering again. The mussels were truly spectacular, perfectly done with a flavorful and interesting broth. Unfortunately, everything else disappointed. The radicchio and gnocchi were both very one-note and lacked balance, the pork chop was significantly over-salted, and the chocolate tres leches and beef tartare were mediocre. Not what we expected from the admiral at all, and quite a bummer!"

"Yummy! They have a growing menu of vegan chocolates and desserts. They have a really good just plain coffee—I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating right in the center of town. The line is often long, but moves quickly. I wish there were more vegan options, but they have more than they used to and they are all great."

"The mushroom steak is a vegetarians dream . The ribeye was awesome. The risotto, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, kale salad were awesome and home made. Prices are very reasonable for such a great meal."
