"The ambiente is very beautiful in this historic building that makes a very well maintained impression. a reservation seems recommended. we were there on Sundays at lunchtime, and the restaurant was full. the quality of the food is very good, both tastefully and visually from the preparation. The only weak point for us was the long waiting period of around minutes for us until the food was served."

"A restaurant is no better located, with a breathtaking view of the city of Bernkastel-Kues and its vineyards. We were greeted in a very warm way as we arrived at the noon fire. enormment of the world, many reserved tables but we were still invited to install at a table reserved for the beginning of the afternoon. a very positive point when you know that most of the time, when a table is reserved no matter what time, it is reserved bar. at the level of service, also nothing to say, very smiling and very smiling waitress, dishes served quickly despite the present world. concerning the cleanliness of the restaurant, despite the present world and waitresses running everywhere, it was very clean. small peculiarity, the toilets are located outside the restaurant in a small annexed building but there too, no cleanliness. For the dish, I decided to take a pane with pepper sauce. portions are very generous, as often in German. It was accompanied by fries and a small salad, which was largely enough to see the size of the scalope. However, a small flat on the sauce. When I'm served with a pane of pepper sauce, I'm expecting to receive a nice scalope that bathes in the sauce, and in that specific case, I can only be disappointed with the serving of sauce that accompanied the scalope. It was clearly not enough for the whole meat and that is why I take a point off my note. However, I can only recommend this restaurant for its setting and reception."

"I recently visited this cafe with my husband and friends and it has a lovely area to sit outside in the square for when the weather is good and a fantastic seating area inside for when the weathers bad.The cake display counter in the shop is fabulous - has an amazing display of cakes your pushed to decide what to choose. I even bought cakes and biscuits to bring home to England which my parents enjoyed on receiving them.My cafe latte was really hot and good. We visited this cafe several times during our visit.How anybody could say anything bad about this coffee/cake shop amazes me. I wish we could transport it to England - so well done Cafe Hansen.."
