"Nice atmosphere, variety of choice of coffee. I finally chose one of them(iced coffee with big whipped cream and orange peel on top in the photo). And what I got is iced water with a little coffee flavor. I had to ask about whipped cream. They put very small whipped cream but not orange peel. Anyway, what I got was different from the shown photo. There are only few customer and 6 people work in the bar and I never understand what they are doing. An watery coffee and a small muffin costs 10.80euros? No way! I'd never visit again."

"It was our last day in Nice and we wanted something fast and easy. So we looked for burger spots. We decided for LaPlanxa because it was 2 minutes from our hotel. We sat down outside and immediately received some cold water for our table (on the house) We both decided for the burger. They asked how we wanted the meat (we wanted medium rare) and that's exactly how we received it! The burger was DELICIOUS! We ate so fast we forgot to take pictures. I'm a cheese lover so I really appreciated the amount of cheese there was in this burger. They also used coleslaw instead of normal salad in the burger which was amazing! The quality of this thing was sky high for only 10,5€. There was also a salad and great potato fries. We also ordered dessert: A Kinder Bueno milkshake (comes with the chocolate bar) and the salted caramel macaroon (comes with vanilla ice cream and strawberry jam drizzle) we ate it all up and also received an espresso each (comes for free with every menu). We both loved this place and regretted not eating here the first night as well! Great service, both men that night spoke English very well (always a plus). Wonderful experience."

"...make it Bistrot d'Antoine. I go there every time I am in the city, and it has not yet succumbed to the temptation to live on its established reputation and lower its standards. This time the tomato entrée, one of their specialities - lots of different coloured tomatoes in a stunning, subtle dressing - was as good as ever. My kidneys were wonderful and Linda's liver equally so, though I did look enviously at the splendid lump of rare beef a Frenchman was eating at the next table. Desserts were inspired compotes - cherries for me, pineapple and ginger for Linda. The house white wine is a fine dry Sauvignon. You need to book, though."
