"Absolutely the best pizza joint in Ottawa. 1. Their pizzas are delicious, especially the smoked meat pizza (in the picture. They put the meat INSIDE the cheese which makes the pizza a whole lot tastier. 2. Their staff is the best. Very welcoming, always smiling, always caring. They’re always trying to talk and build rapport. Never are they in the “get served and leave” mood. 3. Their overall restaurant vibe is cute. A fun place to just sit and enjoy their wonderful pizza. 10/10 would recommend."

"Just tried Al's diner for breakfast. I sat on the lower part of the restaurant and had to wait for the menu, wait for coffee and when my breakfast finally came, it was cold. Two girls arrived 15 minutes after me and sat in the upper section. They were eating their breakfast while I was still waiting. My waitress was visiting with people and drinking her coffee. cold eggs....yuk! I will give it another try but will be careful as to which section I sit in."

"When hubby gets a craving for a burger & fries we typically go to a Five Guys restaurant closer to our home in the east end of Ottawa. I like a grilled home-style all beef patty that isn't over-seasoned and Five Guys does do that part well however, I honestly never understood all of the fuss as I find the burgers/buns are soggy and the topping, well, they are underwhelming. Well, now I know. The burgers we got at the Hunt Club location were completely different. The same juicy all-beef patty, but the fixings were plentiful and super fresh and my bun wasn't soggy at all. Ripe red tomatoes, fresh onions and crisp lettuce - delicious. What really topped it off was the service - the fellow who took our order was terrific. Friendly, helpful, funny and quick. Couldn't ask for more .... well, perhaps that they turn their aircon and music down just a bit :-) I can't vouch for any of the other Five Guy locations but I would be happy to go back to the Hunt Club restaurant anytime hubby gets a craving."

"Great night out and excellent host to a couple ladies for some celebratory drinks. Adam Steve were very attentive and always ensured our water and sparkling wine were full. Our dietary concerns were properly considered and the food was wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit."
