"This cafe has a verity of items on the menu that appeals to everyone. The menu includes food for vegetarians as well. My favorite is the Midcity platter, it comes with a choice of pancakes, French toast, or waffle. It also includes eggs with cheese, bacon, sausage, home fries or grits, and toast for only 7.25. For lunch and dinner I like the fajitas, steak cheese subs, and the curry chicken meal. Sometimes when I am not in the mood for food, I stop by for coffee, and Hershey's ice cream!"

"Had a nice dinner at Tequila Mezcal. Staff was excellent and knowledgeable, suggested a tamarind mezcal cocktail that wasn't on the menu, it was delicious. The three tacos I ordered were also filling and good. My favorite was the Campechanos and the Birria but the octopus was also good. Will look to go back and recommend when in Columbia Heights."

"It certainly helps to know the staff at this very tasty but almost hole-in-the-wallish place and its low-key, friendly, unpretentious vibe certainly belies its Capitol Hill location. I loved the salsa, the chips, the pitcher of standard margaritas (not too strong and not too sweet) and the terrific (and filling) lomo saltado, done perfectly medium-rare as requested. Fine service, too."
