As a Texan newly landed in DC, I was sad to discover that Tex Mex/authentic Mexican food is nowhere in sight. Thankfully, I discovered the glorious food of the Salvadorians and ate here probably every weekend I lived in DC.The pupusas are amazing and the yuka/platanos are delicious as well. I made a take out order using their online menu (Grubhub/ facebook). When I got home I noticed that two sides advertised in these menus were missing. I called the restaurant to let them know that I was missing sides and they said that my order didn’t bring these sides. Very disappointed to know I payed for one thing and got only part of it.
The food was just amazing. Lots of options and the flavors were great. I definitely want to return to try more of their stuff. Staff was super friendly as well. Decent prices.Food: 5/5
Food was some of the best el Salvadoran food I've had in the city, looking forward to coming back more often. Truly fresh tortillas, amazing sopas, delicious.Food: 5/5
Went for pupusas after going to Gloria’s Pupusaria because they didn’t actually have any pupusas. Here there is a good variety of options. I tried 5 different flavors and they were all good. Not great. They were a bit flat and could’ve used more filling. The sauce was good. The restaurant was very cute and had great vibes. I would recommend eating in.
Absolutely fantastic food! Sopa De Res made me a believer and the pupusas we're outstanding. Some of the best latin food I've ever had. Very authentic vibes! Must try!Food: 5/5
