"The second location of the tare shops in portland street is a spacious room filled with many bulk goods without plastic. bring their own glasses and get them all from falafel mix, nutrition yeast, flavor, soap and much more. the staff is super helpful and friendly and has a cool selection of eco-friendly products. reusable straw, solutions for storage without plastic, eco-friendly makeup and more. in any case worth a visit!"

"First time at Pita Pit was a nice surprise. We like Subway a lot, and this is a nice take on the fresh sub idea. Easier to eat as well - physically it is easier to eat as everything is contained inside the pita pocket, as opposed to the bread of the sub, where things are sometimes falling. Nice options, and I appreciated they go beyond the usual roasted chicken and such to get some more unusual tastes - babaganoush, souvlaki., It tries to get a bit of a middle easterner flavour, without actually succeeding too well. When in need of some fast food options, I'd take this one over Subway - and that one over pretty much every other fast food restaurant out there."

"Sand one of the best restos on the dartmouth side of the harbour. not too easy to find, but it is behind finbars pub (most people know). the mixed meze plate is excellent my partner has it as main! I had the Turkish... version of spanakopita delicious. I had a lamb kebab as my head and it was succulent. and the (small) weinlist is very affordable. they will not be disappointed."

"Not that everything was perfect, but ... excellent food, innovative menu, appealing presentation, good service, reasonable price and nice atmosphere. Appetisers were delicious, we loved Korean/Chinese inspired mussels and marinated plums with cheese and pancetta with chilli cocoa sauce. Main: superb lamb, great grilled tuna with pickled basil seed foam. The only problem turned out with seafood raviolini - not to par. We did not get charged for it. Bravo to chef Al, for his creativity and perhaps for taking a risks. In this "deep fried" market, The Picnic will offer fresh taste experience and will not disappoint. The art gallery adds to nice evening."

"Been meaning to try this place for a while. After a big day landscaping, we didn't feel like cooking and were looking for some good Mediterranean comfort food. I was well impressed by Paradise. We got a feast: Paradise kabab's, tabouleh, falafels, koftas, babaganoush, Pitas,...More"

"Freshii is a healthy fast food chain. they offer delicious bowls, packings, salads and much more. many customizable options for vegans and if they ask, they can make a diagram that let them know what is vegan-friendly. I had a delicious bowl with fresh vegetables, tofu, noodles and a soak with a zing and it was fabulous. it is a little pricy for fast eating, but the portions are decent and eating is fresh."
