"Very clean, low key joint. Warmly welcomed by owners. I tried the chicken shawarma sajj wrap. Took a while to receive my order, though I was the only one in queue. Which is a good thing, as it means the meat is being grilled, the meal prepared to order. (I typically do not trust super fast food service). Shawarma was flavorful, well proportioned, with cool hits of fresh parsley and citrus zing. Just the right amount of grill carcinogen. My one complaint is that the wrap was very wet and saturated at the end. Perhaps a starchy absorbent like fries thrown in, with a little less meat? I will definitely be back, the next time for the beef!"

"2 stars for this Pita Kitchen because I'm comparing it to *another restaurant* that i meant to order from. *other Mediterranean restaurant* has more flavor, larger meat portions, fresh crispy veggies, and they give you a heaping meal! They set the bar for me. I ordered from this Pita Kitchen on accident and per their reply below, I guess they want to know what I ordered. I got a gyro and it was not great. It was edible and satisfied my hunger...but not great. Meat portion was almost nonexistent even though the description on the menu says it contains beef and lamb. It had a lot of tomatoes that were squishy so it really didn't seem fresh. I feel like I ate subway which is not what I was going for."

"Ok, so the wife and I were looking for somewhere quick and healthier than Mexican food or something heavy. The wife said hey there is a new Gyro place around the corner, I snubbed my nose up at the thought. But decided why not. Turned to be my new go to place. The food was very fresh and tasty. We did have the Gyros and a side salad, Very Good and tasty.... recommend!"

"First timer...had the Greek Chicken Pita. Amazing! The slaw was really good too. Trying to eat healthy, and this was filling yet low in calories. The side of hummus with cucumbers was enough for 2-3 people, we ordered 2 not realizing how generous the portions were. My husband had a bowl with kafta and he loved it. Staff was friendly, everything was clean. We will be back!"

"Some of the best Shawarma I've ever had- ever!!! Shawarma King is one of the best secrets of Arizona. Large creamy hummus. Excellent falafel, all I've tried is really good and fresh, including homemade pita. It is a beautiful family owned and run restaurant that has a warm and pleasant atmosphere. I'd really be surprised if you don't love this place as much as I do. Enjoy!"
