"The Vajrapani Buddhist centre has re opened its cafe. We had a vegetarian paella with a selection of salads for only £4.50. There was a small selection of homemade fresh dishes a soup, 2 mains and a variety of cakes. All are vegetarian and some are vegan. What we really liked was the peaceful and warm atmosphere in this beautiful building and the fact that you can just go and enjoy coffee and cake or a meal without being Buddhist or feeling that you need to sign up! A real treat, especially at this time of year."

"Been 3 times in the last 2 months. Staff are spot on and very friendly. Not had a bad meal here, scoffed the lot. Little gem, that people miss. Chips are proper grand I tell ya. Give this place a go."

"My partner and I were passing and almost went in the next door cafe however the cakes caught my eye and in we went. Omg to die for sweets. Homemade abs scones too. We had a soup and sandwich . It was leek and potato and I had tuna mayo sarni and my partner had ham. The ham was beautiful had cut ham. Very tasty everything. I did resist the cakes as I was on dechox for march . But will be back once I can consume a chocolate eclair. Very friendly staff and disabled friendly too. Well with a visit. At the top of the street next too another more famous kitchen ."

Their food is brilliant, the service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is amazing. You can tell this is a family business- I always recommend med one as my number one spot for a meal out!
