"I had no expectations, but I knew I wanted a gyro for lunch, a fast Google search and Azars came up. Great, I left. I didn't expect to be blown away from the taste and service. The tzatziki sauce was spot on, delicious fluffy Pita and a Pita chip with fresh hummus along with the meal. The server (a young woman with dark hair and an arm sleeve tattoo, I didn't catch her name) was very helpful and attentive. My friend and I even had a dessert with the food. Fully knock my feet with the rich taste of chocolate cake. Great prices and quantity of food are preserved. I will definitely come back, great first experience!"

"Wonderful breakfast place just what you are looking for. Nothing fancy, just authentic great food prepared with a sense of pride that really comes through. The chef came out and chatted with us about the recipes and history behind items on the menu. And yes those Sweet potato Pancakes!"

"The food is really good. But today on 9/12/23 around 6ish they were really skimpping out on the food. A bowl is 20 dollars and it seemed like people serving today were only giving 10 pieces of salad, a small scoop of rice, a spoon full of meat etc. The lady next to me had to ask if she could get a little more rice. Also instead of asking if certain things were okay to put in the bowl they would look at this card and go to town. I had to have the young lady redo my bowl because the sauce she put in it wasn’t the one I wanted. Whenever I would ask if she could put extra of something, It was kind of hard to get her attention. Once my bowl was remade they ended up using the incorrect salad and didn’t even bother to ask me what I had in it, before taking it."

"We happened upon this place after the wait at another local brunch spot was too long- and I?m so glad! The Turkish coffee was amazing (and a cool experience). We had the menemen and Turkish sucuk and eggs, and it was definitely the best breakfast we?ve had in VA Beach so far. They do also have more American-type offerings if you?re looking for that. The entire staff was lovey, and the atmosphere was also great. Highly recommend!"

"This is a Mediterranean Restaurant. Very clean restaurant, nice decor with very helpful non Mediterranean staff. Prices are reasonable. The food was OK. I am not an expert at this type of food, but I had the chef's special (under $10) and my wife had a chicken kebab, which she liked. I enjoyed the chicken, which was curried. It seemed the roasted vegetables I had was a little undercooked but not bad. Overall a pleasant experience. I like to try out different restaurants; this was a good experience for me."
