This is lovely and casual place with authentic Turkish food. We had a chicken wrap and falafel platter: both delicious! The falafel were cooked to perfection and were sitting on delightful hummus accompanied by amazing bread. And seeing a sand station dedicated for making authentic Turkish coffee, we had to end the meal with the classic drink! It did not disappoint at all!! Did not need sugar or anything! What User doesn't like about Mosaic Cafe:
Pictures lie. I ordered western omelette, and the pictures on the menu looks good. The breads on the pictures looked like they were homemade baked in the restaurant. My order took very long. I was shocked when I got it. The $11+ omelette was overcooked. It’s brown and spongy. Eggs were over whipped making it spongy. The onions were burnt. Great atmosphere! Great food and beverages! Owners and staff are very friendly! Try a waffle and Turkish coffee!

Awesome atmosphere, I'm from the Northern VA area, but I come to VA Beach a lot off and on during the year and have only a few staples I make sure to stop by, this is now one of them. The Nutella waffle was great and the Esquites was just as good. I plan to try everything on the menu, this place is a nice change from the typical boardwalk food and opens up your palette to new and exotic flavors. The smoothies are fresh with no added sugar, great for after my morning run!
This is the best turkish coffee I've ever tried! Love it
