"I went to the restaurant with friends to celebrate an evening. I give this review because the service I received while there were some of the best I had in the city. the menu looked pretty good, although I had nothing else than the grilled and I ride with a 5-year-old. the waitress was great for the little guy, brought tassen with children and strohhalmen to facilitate the drink as we were at a high table. she delivered additional ketchup and refill every time we were low and was incredibly friendly during the process. she even brought a lid to take juice when we were ready to go for the night. all in all, fast, friendly service and the best experience I would have asked. that was my first visit, but it won't be my last."

"Tommy G is amazing! From the friendly greeting he gives ALL of his customers to the great product, we love it!!! I love his burgers, brats and ribeyes. The meat sticks are great and allergy friendly for my nephew. I love love love the breakfast sausage varieties, especially the blueberry.My favorite thing is the Prime Rib we ordered for Christmas. It was out of this world amazing! The Aus ju recipe card was spot on for a perfect Christmas dinner.I ordered a ham for Easter and I don’t even like ham. Tommy G changed that!!! I didn’t realize I’ve only eaten overly watered down ham. Tommy G works his magic with the smoker to convert me to ham (side note I love all bacon and pig products, just ham was never my favorite).One thing I won’t miss for Thanksgiving is Tommy G’s turkey! I haven’t tried everything here (Wagyu you’re next) but everything I’ve tried is fantastic. I love the clean, friendly atmosphere!! While the meat is pricey, we find it’s better than eating out and taste amazing! D"

"We came here for Alaska King Crab legs and they did not disappoint. The food was amazing, however, first we encountered a young gentleman name Lane. His enthusiasm, wit, and general love of this restraint was welcoming to our out of town family. I highly recommend Chowder House and hope you are taken care of by Lane. We will talk about this experience for a while!!!"

"Pretty hit or miss these days. The staff is friendly and always inviting. Unfortunately, the food is just not as consistent as it was in the Double Eagle era. I miss the variety of the older menu and the expanded hours- bring back the brunch and pint glass mimosas!"

"Our first night in alaska we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. that was delicious. the healed was so fresh and fluffy. we have the appetizer version and it was plentiful. we also tried the artichoke and crab dive. it was so good that it did not take for a photo! the French was rich and tasteful. my son liked his beef tips and my daughter gave the mac and cheese 8/10. overall we enjoyed our meal times."
