"With colleagues we ate in the mö after hearing about it and especially seen, at the place and back, often passing by there, the half-vache that enters and that goes out of the walls. Nice discovery! the setting first, the old ride is beautiful, the restaurant's decor is sober but it feels comfortable. The food is very good: bone to marrow at the entrance, beef tartar as main dish. the portions are consistent so that the dessert...we gave it up! It'll be for a next time. what to say...the service: efficient and discreet. Nice evening."

"Sensational grilled meats are prepared by the chef before your eyes under an enormous chimney (hence the name). The chef cooks the meat over a wood charcoal fire which imparts a wonderful smoky grilled flavor. I have had several meals here and all have been...just fantastic. Good selection of local wines. I have had nearly every meat served here and all have been terrific. In addition the starters and sides are just as good. Last time I was there and had the Assiette barbecue (filet de boeuf, côte d'agneau, foie de veau, filet de cheval) that is: BBQ Plate (beef fillet, lamb chop, veal liver, filet of horse). Yes horse is quite popular in this part of Switzerland which is within site of the French border. Time before that I shared the Chateaubriand for two with a colleague and was just blown away at how good and flavorful the beef tasted. Every ounce of every meal was incredible. Service is par excellence, cheerful and friendly servers always make the evening entertaining. French is the primary language, but there are servers that speak English quite well."
