"We've been here five years ago. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. We noticed that there are voluntary masks carried by the staff, although this is not currently required. This is unfortunately not the case in many other restaurants in the area. Waiting for the food was a little long. Nevertheless, we can recommend the Due Fratelli."

"Very good Italian restaurant! Friendly staff, clear map, delicious and inexpensive food. The portions were very generous. Little things like the Bruschetta, the self-baked bread and the Averna went to the house. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the interior, because really because of our dog and smokers have eaten on the terrace. Nevertheless, I can absolutely recommend this restaurant!"

"Until the beginning of the Corona-Pandemie, this inner courtyard, which branches off from the Wahmstraße in the Lübeck city centre, was the new roastery, which, with its concept as a combination of coffee specialities house and deli, ran very successfully. Even I had already written a visit to this place to the To-Do list, however, this project had to be ad-acta after the first lockdown, since the operators unfortunately decided to close permanently. The more surprised I was in the summer of this year when I discovered that a new gastronomic plant has now settled in these rooms. Fortunately, the information on the Jawed 's Remise website promised a new change in the Lübeck restaurant landscape. In my knowledge, Central Asian and especially Afghan cuisine cannot be tried yet. So it's great that I didn't have to worry about the missed opportunity with the new roasting shop anymore, but I could look forward to new culinary impressions in the successor Jawed 's Remise. The new operators have kept the basic design of the predecessor as far as possible. The uncoated brick façade has remained as well as the iconic wall tiles and the long, curved treses right at the entrance. There, where the large shelves were filled with all kinds of coffee in the Neuen Rösterei, there is now a large winery. The clear shapes and the abandonment of the Schnick-Schnack in the interior also resemble the predecessor. The seating furniture is also simple, but in good condition. For a special evening restaurant, the design might be less suitable, but it is quite sufficient for a full-day gastronomy with a relaxed atmosphere. However, I would have liked to reflect the central Asian character of the dishes offered here also in a few authentic accessories, because even the sign of his former “New Roasting” jumped over the counter. Interior view. It goes without saying that the courtyard is also used as a free-seat, with the simple seating areas appear to be in need of reconciliation in this historic atmosphere. The courtyard with outside view of the restaurant.s At the time of my visit, a young man was familiar with the service. He received me as kind as he offered me a table as a spontaneous guest and even kept me the door when I left. He was also able to convince me with his knowledge of the food offer that he showed me in a curious question about the choice of spices. His performance deserves full score absolutely. As mentioned, the restaurant does not seem to want to decide clearly between a classic evening restaurant and a restaurant for the whole day, because on the one hand breakfast is already offered in different variations in the morning, on the other hand there is also a classic division in appetizer, main and dessert with kitchen open to the evening hours. While the breakfast variations are continental or German and therefore not exceptional, the map for the further meals of the day provides many dishes from the Central Asian region that have been unknown to me. Filled dough bags, called Sambosa, and baked in the pastry called “Pakora” are certainly still a term. The main foods with Ragouts Qorme of various composition and central Asian classics such as “Ashak” pasta filled with porridge, meat ragout and yogurt sauce or “Shola” rice with beef chopped balls in spicy tomato sauce and yogurt promise many ways to try out new dishes. This afternoon, I decided to have an equally interesting, small meal: “Shorbah” as an Afghan soup with lamb, carrots, chickpeas and bread cubes for 8.5€. ‘Shorbah’: Afghan soup with lamb, carrots, chickpeas and bread cubes. Steaming hot served in a deep bowl, the dish, which was rather designed as a one-pot, immediately fell with the larger dice of fluffy, homemade bread on its surface. In fact, the rough pieces to my surprise were even roasted like Croûtons, and thus had a red crust while at the same time they absorbed the taste of the soup. I liked that already. The broth itself, with its papriated spiciness, held what the color promised. Pit or sharp, she wasn't there, but it wasn't as well. On my curious request, the friendly man from the service revealed to me that cumin, coriander and cardamom are also essential spices of this food. This also confirmed me absolutely tastefully. That the coriander sometimes had something to concise tips for me, I value more than personal preference as a mistake in preparation. At the bottom of the reddish, the further ingredients mentioned are then available. The treasures of the Shorbah . The chickpeas still had beautiful bites. The lamb was, of course, not tender like a pink fried fillet, but nevertheless by no means tough and also tastefully not overdue by the spices of the broth. I was glad to have made this choice, because it was really a successful, varied impact that would certainly not have made any joy in bad taste and preparation. So I liked to take out the bowl until the last rest. On the bottom, the Jawed 's Remise was able to justify my tense anticipation during this first visit. The ambience would be the only point with real point withdrawal, as something more authenticity and own character simply lacks in this oriental orientation. On the other hand, the service remains positive to me with natural friendliness and communality. My first trip to this culinary region with the Afghan soup was also a great surprise. Only in terms of price-performance ratio can I not give a full score for myself, as for such a smaller one-pot port of 8.5 € a tick is too high compared to my previous experience in other gastronomy. I would still like to order again. This gives me, in any case, more than enough reasons to return again and then try one of the equally exciting main dishes."

"This restaurant has some tables outside in the warmer months, but also enough tables inside. Our food was delicious, but I found it strange that we had a dish of tzatziki with some tomatoes, cucumbers and cabbage salad as an appetizer, but the main dish... was only meat (Gyros) and rice / frits. So I highly recommend not eating the entire appetizer The service is efficient, but not always very friendly and polite. By the way, there are no handicap toilets"
