"This is the game season so I decided to go once more to this restaurant. The service was very poor, it was Saturday noon, the menu was attractive but the venison, which was on the menu, was overcooked and arrived after more than 40 minutes...after my order. I doubt if I can be convinced to visit again. The restaurant has two levels and I had opted for a table on the first floor which was quiet because the ground floor was very busy."

"This restaurant,located perhaps 30-40 minutes from downtown Geneva, is more favored by locals than by tourists. In good weather, you will want to sit on the outdoor terrace. Reservations are recommended. It took us two tries to get in. The town of Veyrier is located...near the base of Saleve and its teleferique, should you want to build up an appetite hiking about on top, before dining. The chef grills your selection to order over a large barbecue on the terrace. In addition to meats, there are a few fresh local fish entrees and salad entrees. Of course, there is a commendable list of good, local wines which you may sample by the glass (a deci) or by the bottle. Do leave room for the apricot tart, if it is offered. Or find someone for sharing it. The apricots taste as though they have just been picked. This is not a fast food restaurant. One comes here for several hours, to enjoy the food and the conversation. For distraction, there is a pétanques court that adjoins the terrace."

"Dinner at Gusto restaurant was an Italian affair! Chef Alessandro Cannata is an expert at bringing the best of Italy to Geneva in a celebration of Italian flavours, textures and colours from local, seasonal produce it is clear that only the best is good...enough for Cannata. Adventurous, well thought out culinary art appears, and each piece is as exciting as it is flavoursome as it adds to the masterpiece that is culinary enlightenment."

"Nonostante l'impegno per farci sentire a nostro agio, il locale non mi ha personalmente convinto. Ambiente decò a parte, le porzioni sono state di certo abbondanti, ma il gusto delle pietanze non del tutto soddisfacente, forse mancavano di spezie. Il carrello dei desserts faceva la sua bella figura, con tutti i dolci fatti in casa, le porzioni però erano troppo abbondanti: io ho dovuto dare dare ad altri parte della mia cheesecake. Mi ha lasciato perplesso, di certo è un locale al quale bisogna dare una seconda opportunità, per poterlo capire appieno. Un ultimo appunto: non è decisamente per vegani come ristorante ;-)"

"The waiters are very nice and friendly, but the service is very slow. The restaurant was 25% of its full capacity and the wait time between dishes was long.The meat was OK, but nothing that I would remember.Overall, the price/quality/service is very average.Would be go back: probably not, specially that couple of blocks away another there is another excellent meet restaurant."
