"I would really rate this a 5 just for food. I'm seriously shocked by the quality of food here compared to the beer. I has the brussel sprouts, fish and chips and shepherds pie. The food was great! (I don't even like fish and chips but it looked so good, I had to try it. The chips could have been cooked longee but fish was amazing I loveeed the shepherds pie. It was so warming and yummy. The beer unfortunately was not a palate pleasee for me, but if you're looking for a great place to grab a bite, this is it. They don't have a bad selection of wine for a brewery either!"

"I have been here multiple times for trivia every Wednesday at 7pm. I have always had a good time while I have been here. They make really good classic buffalo wings. Their beer selection is also very good. The person who hosts the trivia is a really cool and chill guy. Also the wait staff have always been really nice. The only thing bad is on busy days it takes a little bit to get your food out, but overall a great place to spend a Wednesday evening!"

"Our waitress (Amanda, I believe) was excellent. She worked alone a somewhat large section and she was on the move with our service. My husband is a little picky about his toast, and usually waiters get it wrong although he is specific, clear and emphatic. He even has a photo on his phone, how dark he likes his toast. Nine times from 10, they're barely getting toast. He has to send it back, and it comes too late for him to enjoy with his meal. Amanda got it perfect for the first time. It's been a while since that happened. My meal was also perfect! The only bad thing I overheard was that a table of 5 went without pay, and Amanda said the Village Inn makes the waitress pay for walks! FIVE people! If this is the VI policy, it must stop. What a terrible thing!"

"The food was really good seasoned, but a little too oily for me. I have a blue crab head. It was delicious, but fat. My favorite was the crab roll. The bread pudding and peach cakes were very sweet. Overall I liked it, but probably won't be soon to visit unless it's for the crab roll."

"It's been quite a while since I've been here. Our server was great, and kept making suggestions, which all sounded fantastic as she described them. It was pretty good! I got the Lobster Bake Pasta, and was very surprised by the amount of seafood that came on top! I was very pleased about this! I will definitely be coming here again!"
