"We had a light meal and dessert here and everything we ordered was excellent. The service was good although it took a while for our meal to arrive. I'd definitely choose this place over the Horse and Groom down the road which I found overpriced (no I don't work here I live in the US)."

"Went here for a lunch. Inside felt like a nice British pub. Food was lovely, recommend the pie and chips. We also had dessert a honeycomb cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding, both were delicious. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Only downside was that we were sat next to the back door, which led to the toilets, so you can imagine how many times the door was opened! If you don't sit there though, then you'll be fine!"

"Fabulous lunch at the Fleece today all had pie of the day and it was wonderful. Great friendly staff very helpful and happy to have us in for lunch unlike the Kings Head! Just a wonderful time had by us all thanks again staff at the Fleece"

"A really quirky and toasty pub! The pub has a really unique vibe, low ceilings, moody ambience, wood burning fires and old fashioned candle sticks on the table. It may be all of these things but the food was nothing short of delicious. Pleasantly surprised to find out that they served a meatless roast which doubled up on veggies and gravy. The Sticky Toffee Pudding really hit the spot. Our meal was really fairly priced we visit pubs in the surrounding areas regularly and we were delighted with the bill (which included service charge too! Worth a note that it 's super dog friendly too so bring your 4 legged friend along with you."

"Went here for a spot of dinner with my mum and it did not disappoint one bit! Fresh fish, crunchy but fluffy chips and lovely selection on drinks on offer. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend this unique little restaurant. Noticed when leaving they also do deliveries and takeaway!!! Definitely coming back!"
