A really quirky and toasty pub! The pub has a really unique vibe, low ceilings, moody ambience, wood burning fires and old fashioned candle sticks on the table. It may be all of these things but the food was nothing short of delicious. Pleasantly surprised to find out that they served a meatless roast which doubled up on veggies and gravy. Terrible quality, ridiculous pricing. £19 for the burger, they’ve used the cheapest possible, Aldi Brioche buns, overcooked dense burger and a large handful of fries. No sides. Ingredients couldn’t have cost more than £1. Beer selection was generic and average. We suggest you drive 10 minutes to a far far better food pub. Won’t be returning. View all feedback.
