"Staff don’t wear masks cooking and serving. I would expect with way things are that staff preparing food should be wearing a mask and gloves. Very little protection to customers from staff. Won’t be going again."

"I recently visited the Queen of Hearts pub in Daventry. This is probably my 5th visit. It's a decent pub with interesting interior decor. They have outdoor tables and a playground for kids, and the place is pet-friendly. The drinks and food were good, our table was a bit sticky... Don’t want to be mean but the staff seemed a bit tired and not very friendly, but overall, it's a good pub in Daventry that I would recommend checking out."

"We had a large booking of 20 people, from the minute we arrived everything was very professional, a nice welcome message for our group on the wall, started with drinks in the bar while we waited for everyone to arrive. Once seated, we never had to wait or leave our seats the service was excellent. The food was also perfect, all came out swiftly, very well presented and how quite everyone went was a good sign everyone was enjoying it. Overall a faultless experience, excellent staff! Special mention to Will Rui for the service and Sam Ryan for the food."

"Visited the White Swan at Holcot several times with family and friends. We are always made welcome by the caring owners Hayley Martin competent smiling Hanna and the lovely local natives. Great pint of Guinness and good selection of beers, ciders, lagers, wines Spirits. A good village pub worth visiting."

"We found this pub one Sunday while traveling back home from Croydon to Tamworth, I phoned the pub to see what time they finished serving Sunday lunch, she asked what time we were looking at I said half hour. She said that'd fine. When we got there around 4:40 there were no diners, we ordered drinks, told her we'd phoned and she gave us menus. They had finished serving food at 4. I had lamb and gammon and we had a veggie option. The food came in 20 mins, with fresh veg, it was hot with tasty gravy and a veggie gravy. Even though they had closed they looked after us with no hint of annoyance. Obviously we were the only people eating so 1 star for atmosphere, but there were people enjoying a drink at the bar watching grand Prix. We will go back there, my partner wants to try the fish and chips. Well done to bar and kitchen staff. Thanks we've found a new stop off place on a long journey.
