"Got a fish supper and a pizza crunch . I had the fish supper . The chips were good but the fish !! Burnt to a crisp . The batter was like eating crisps and the fish inside was so thin. Grandson said the pizza was tasteless and also burnt . Been here before and food was lovely but this time dreadful. Won't be back!"

"Food Decor Atmosphere Value Service Stunning decor, unfortunately food does not match, ordinary food, the signature fries were very soggy. Is this intentional? A very ordinary bordering on bland burger. Prices reflect the decor rather than the quality of food."

"Hungry. The portions were incredibly small, miniscule. One of our party said that he had stopped at the petrol station on his journey home and bought a chocolate bar (or 2) as he was still hungry after the 2 course meal. His starter which he said was tasteless was a ham hough terraine and the only good thing on his main course was the one and only little(and I mean little cos I saw it) sausage balanced on a bland bed of beans and potatoes, not exactly going out to pay for food The bottled beers were also strangely tiny..but with large prices. "Love the ice creams from the University Cafe, wrongly assumed the food in the take away next door would be just as good. Soggy undercooked chips, rubbery batter with very little fish inside of it. Smoked sausages are decent, but I guess they don't make...them themselves, so can't get them wrong. Friendly staff though."
