"Food was nice but nothing special and certainly not worth the price tag. This was our first meal out from our camping trip and we were left feeling very disappointed and out of pocket. Six of us ate, 4 adults and 2 kids, we shared starters and puddings and it still cost us over £200! Service was terrible and the atmosphere was non existent! Food portions were mediocre and certainly not worthy of the cost! Local taxi driver was great but said he hasn’t been in there in years as it’s no longer local and just aimed at the tourist market. Such a shame for the locals. If you want proper Scotland this isn’t it!"

"Without booking and we sat right away. ordered the cheese garlauch brot starter and the cassierlauf. both courts were amazing. the starter was crispy, without exaggerated, crispy and perfectly complemented with the soft cheese. so tasty! and the meat casrol was such a hearty sour. the bark in the mouth melted and the baked was so light and fluffy. the interior of the restaurant has been made really beautiful, overall leads to a beautiful atmosphere. great place to dinner and highly recommended!"

"Had a brilliant double room in the room with a practically separate lounge area (l shaped). very clean, warm, full on camp large bathroom etc. free and very reliable wlan. restaurant excellent and the staff was very excellent mentioning the beautiful and very helpful beata. it is a perfect location for a first night in skye and excellent worth. I was impressed."
