"Stopped here, had seen the sign on numerous occasions, and thought ...just another chippie. So one lunchtime went in and ordered two small portions of chips, and must say wish i had ordered a larger portion We really enjoyed them and will be going back...for more, and will def. try their fish too...don't let a few bad reviews put you off."

"Good size room. Enough space for a travel cot without feeling cramped. Had 2 evening meals, both of which have been superb. Breakfast was also very good. Staff are very polite and helpful. Decent drink selection at the bar."

"Popped in as was moored up in Carnforth for the night and wanted to watch live football. We got a nice welcome in a friendly boozer. There is no food here and dogs are allowed inside but neither is an issue with me. The locals...and bar staff were all friendly, e got to see the footie and the beer was blooming lovely. A good boozer!!"

"Called for lunch, the place was busy, we ordered using the app, the drinks were brought to our table Cokes) within minutes, we ordered food as well which we got within minutes, served by a pleasant young man, we had Ham, Egg and Chips, runny eggs, plenty of ham and the chips were good, total cost less than go to Westherspoons expecting star food, go with an open mind.The place could do with a bit of sprucing up but was acceptable"

"An absolute treasure of a cafe well worth a visit. At the south end of the bay stretching up to Morecombe and the Lake District on a clear day the views from the cliffs are breathtaking. All the produce is cooked in house, the baking is outstanding, imaginative and totally delicious. Salad boxes or home made panini's and focaccia for lunch grab and go, tea/coffee/milkshakes. Local ice cream its all here. Car park opposite and walk along the cliff tops just out the back, with Roman Tombs to view."

"We stayed overnight in our camper in their car park with the caveat that we have a meal in the pub. Very glad we did as this is possibly the most hospitable pub and the most friendly staff I have come across. This coupled with brilliant food and drink made it a perfect overnight stay. We only live 35 minutes away but I think we will be making this a regular stop over just to get away for a night or two. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Beer Battered Fish and Chips, Apple Crumble and Custard"
