Called in to have a Sunday lunch. Pub was nearly empty 1.30pm but was looking forward to a decent meal. Ordered the beef with a glass of merlot. Upon tasting, found meat stringy and tough, mash potatoes lumpy and hard, vegetables under cooked and a tasteless gravy bisto? . Overall a big disappointment from the new chef, and at nearly £17, is well overpriced. Drinks extra. View all feedback.
