"Mins to get one portion of Fish and Chips. Appreciate the “cook to order” excuse but people came in after me and got their food before me. Gives a really bad impression of their importance of how customers perceive their customer service. Lots of...nonsensical family chit chat behind the counter. Not a good experience especially considering what they charge."

"This WAS arguably the better of Tiverton’s fish and chip shops, however, after changing hands recently it is a pale imitation of its former self. The elderly gentleman serving is forgetful and slow I had to repeat the order throughout to him as he...kept forgetting. Asked for a kids meal for my son which normally comes with a drink and sweet neither of which materialised. The food is of a poor quality. Tonight’s sausages were uncooked in the middle and had to be be recooked in the frying pan at home defying the point of a take away. And the least said about the dirt under the fingernails the better. Needless to say we will not be returning. Shame."

"We have visited this pub once again as we had such a great reception on the last visit from the owner and all the staff they are so so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, super friendly and great food ! The pub has a roaring fire on a cold day which we sat next to some months ago, on this occasion on our return visit it was a gorgeous day so we sat outside in the garden terrace, nothing better than cider here on a hot day that's is for sure ! The great girl who had served us earlier came out after 20 minutes to see if we needed refilling !! The owner and the staff made us so welcome, and the food we ordered was lush ! We couldn't fault the service or the pub at all such a warm reception and the locals were so friendly and welcoming too thank you everyone at The Wyndham doing a wonderful job !!"

"We have takeaway fish from this van almost every week in Hemyock, but have also picked up meals from some of their other venues. Fresh Brixham and Cornish fish is fab, my favourite being hake. Lobster burger is good too. Dirty ole bird chicken burger was a revelation, a big portion too. We can't fault this outlet which consistently has the best fish and chips we've ever had. Staff are professional and very friendly too. The prices are cheap,for the standard of food."

"Large fish and chips all cooked to so no soggy fish. ok, you need to wait a bit, but it is worth waiting for. don't order the big cod unless they're really hungry because they don't sweat over big. big selection at others dingen instead of ok just fish and chips."
