"I went into this fish bar and found the two young ladies too busy talking to serve until I asked was anyone serving and then I was acknowledged. I asked for 1 large and 1 small fish and separate chips, the chips and fish were bagged up together and when we came to eat them the small fish seemed to be fish skin and batter, no fish inside. As we don't live locally I didn't take it back so because of this I will never go into this shop again. As a suggestion two more mature ladies I'm sure would do a better job"

"We have been going to this chip shop for years but just recently we have noticed that the portions have been getting smaller. The other day we paid £1.80 for a portion of chips and it was put in a little carton and im not joking it wasnt enough for even a little kids chips portion let alone a regular at that price. What was worse was that we got them home and they were all green and gross. Dont go here if you want something to actually eat!!!"

"What a great experience, went here for fish and chips which were excellent freshly cooked while we waited. The staff were amazingly friendly, even threw in a free sausage for our dog and made us a cup of tea while we waited. Massive choice of food on the menu and very reasonably priced. We will definitely return next time we are in the area."

"Visited on a Saturday and a Sunday whilst attending an event in the town and was impressed on both occasions with the speedy service via the app and the general upkeep of the establishment clearly a well run team in place on both days. Staff were friendly and respectful. The ham mushroom pizza on the Sunday was very good for the price."

"What a sound! derek found this place on the phone and I'm so glad he did. I had one of the best lasagnes I've ever had, from the nicest, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. derek had fish and chips, the fish was huge, with REAL chips! he couldn't finish it and that says something. we sat in their beautiful conned beer garden, surrounded by flowers, under a sunshade that was welcome today. I really recommend this place!"

"Booked for an 80th birthday Sunday Lunch seating 13 adults and 1 child. Usual choices of roast meat plus 2 vegetarian options. Meat and yorkshire pudding came already plated which is fine. Then the vegetables arrived...and kept coming. 10 different choices of vegetables appeared and if we wanted more of them we just had to ask. Plenty of gravy boats too. We didn't have starters and we would not have been able to eat dessert as there was so much of the main to fill us up! Food tasted lovely and only £15.00 for 1 course. We will be back!"

"Was going to try out this new establishment today but on driving past I noticed the staff stood outside smoking,not really appropriate in your uniforms. Also didnt help that the bloke who had been behind the range cooking had no uniform on and was leaning...on the bin outside. Needless to say I wont be visiting here."
