"Okay, after being seated promptly by the lovely hostess, our quite pregnant drinks server never registered or communicated to anyone else it was our daughter's 17th birthday. She rightly had something more important on her mind. Fried pickles and bang bang shrimp were served hot and delicious also promptly, as were the 3 mains of the blackened bash on lobster mash, the veggie burger and the chicken fingers. All were generous in portion and hoovered by my girls. I had the bison burger. This burger is generously adorned by mushroom sauce, bacon and condiments, all necessary to complement the extremely lean but tasty meat. I approve, and may have the bison meatloaf next time. At least 4 different wait staff served us, which mean a team approach that I like, and we were asked several times how the food was. With soft drinks, 9 oz. gals of house wine, two draft, $140 without tip."

"Stopped by and did not know what to pick, Cecilia was just amazing, she helped and advised me after asking a bunch of questions :-) I really enjoyed the to go meal, they have a dine in too.The fish Was delicious and the chips were fresh and not greasy."

"After a good report from a friend decided to have a quick supper here last night although my husband often spoke disparagingly of this establishment. The service was friendly and the place clean but beyond that there is little to rave about here. We both ordered the halibut and chips and my husband also had coleslaw which was tasty. The fish was well cooked and the portions were generous but the fries took me back about 50 years to the early days of frozen food. They lacked flavour texture and seemed quite mushy not really enjoyable although it would be ideal for someone trying to give them up!"

"My nephew's love this spot I have eaten at St. Louis a few times but not this location. Obviously a bar like setting. Our server was great. Very out going and attentive. I had Sweet Chili wings with fries which I enjoyed. We also order Suicide Wings and fries, Fish and Chips and a Greek Salad. Everyone enjoyed their food oh yeah we also had the Calamari yummy."

"Small restaurant near the Oakville Performance Arts theater which offers great food at a reasonable price and some craft beers. It is extremely noisy, dark and had uncomfortable seating. We had made reservations for 6 on a crowded Friday night before a show. We were told some of our party had arrived and went to the table but they were not our party. We told them again and we were pointed again to the table. I said we don't know those people. Some scrabbling and heated conversations amongst the staff made it clear that somehow these people had scammed our reservation. But the good news is we were quickly provided a low table that fit 4 people. We were seated on these low stools/benches and two more were squeezed at the end. The noise in the place is incredible - practically impossible to carry out a conversation without nearly screaming. Probably would be better if it wasn't packed.Despite how busy it was the food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. The waitress friendly and efficient. The stuffed peppers we ordered were amazing and our friend's gluten free fish and chips, was the best she had ever had. So that's why I'm very disappointed I can't rate the place more than average. Although the food was good, the noise and atmosphere would not entice me to go back again. Sorry but you need something to baffle the sound. ."
