"For many years this restaurant has been a favourite for us and many of our friends. Sure it's expensive but the food was always nice and grea for special occasions. Friends told us that it has gone off and boy did we discover just how bad it is. All six of us complained about our meals. Fish was dry and tasteless. Scallops were tiny and dried out. Had to look twice to see if there were any on the shells. Have always enjoyed the steaks with beautiful sauce. Not last night though. All four steaks were fatty and tasteless with no sauce. The potato gratin was under the steak and was like eating rubber. Couldn't tell what the other veggies were as they were overlooked and dried out.It was a very expensive night out and like our many friends, will not be back until they change the chef..."

"Two meals for under $18 seems a good deal, unfortunately this time we had a disappointing experience. One meal, barra fish cakes were mostly filler, little taste of fish and the salad dressing was not to our taste. Second meal, lamb roast, yummy, delicious but only luke warm, what a let down. We will go again and order from the main menu and expect a better result from paying full price."

"Came here with 4 of my friends for breakfast on our way to Palm Beach. The sign outside reads 'Best coffee in Palm Beach!' Well, if that's the case then everywhere else must be pretty poor. I ordered a soy cap which came out luke-warm, and my raisin toast came out 20 mins later which was burnt (seriously- how do you stuff up toast?) and all of our meals came out at seperate times, so by the time the last 2 of us got our meals, the rest of the table had finished. No apologies for the delayed service. The boys did like their bacon and egg rolls however, but everything else was disappointing."
