"As a tourist, it’s a must visit cafe for sure. The ambience, the green vibe, the french upholstery, everything was worth the visit. The food as expected was bit on bland side. The fresh orange juice was par excellence. The aroma in the air was of sweet wine indoors and outside a green area. An interesting cafe to explore and spend some time with your loved ones. Service was quick too and we were asked to wait for around 20-30 minutes but we could get a table in 5 minutes. Worth an experience."

"It was our last night in Pondi and very hesitantly went to Satsang for a dinner and it proved to be not so good experience. Keeping a fancy name and lot of french names in the menu does not make a restaurant excellent one. Other than the ambiance nothing was there to boast upon. Not recommended as there are much more better cafes and restaurants around. Location: It is in the Labourdonnais Street in White Town area of the city and quite close to the beach. "The place might look posh, but the food is very affordable and tastes amazing! It's pocket-friendly when it comes to meals.<br/ .<br/ .<br/ I had their meal which included many items like butter milk, momos, parotta and chicken curry, paneer, 4 varieties of rice, and what not!<br/ The staff was amazing and I loved the ambience. You can go here with your group or even alone!"

"Not a great place to be in a white city ... <br>
Food is ok, ok, service is slow too. The hotel is dimly lit and the ambience is poor. <br>
The pizza we ordered was really big ... pineapple and cheese based ... but very bland. <br>
Grape juice was ok ... but papaya was like milkshake and very bad ... <br>
The French food - a fish with finger chips - was well done ..."

"Good ambience, food is good! And that where the good part ends, unfortunately. We ordered indian food, and they took a lot of time for a not so large order.The service was also not upto the mark, and the waiters had to be constantly pestered and reminded by us to 'hurry up ' our order, which didnt work at all, cause it nearly took 45 mins for our first order. Quantity was also something one would be impressed with, so we had to give a second order; which turned out be an ordeal in itself. I lost the count of time by the time the second order came in. Should absolutely work on improving service."
