"Simply the best. Fish is very tasty and chips are great. They may take a while for your order but that is because they cook everything as you order it. No reheated food here.. Wish you were our local fish and chip shop we would be there all the time! As it is we travelled miles to visit the area again just so we could have your fish and chips! Reasonably prices too!"

"Great NT café. not the cheapest, but not expensive, always beautiful diners and drinks, also national trust shop with beautiful selection of gifts and useful clothing accessories. the cafe has a large area next to the beach to sit with several NT wooden rund seats with spatzen on the tap for cake and pasty crumbs, also has a small in-house with tables and a small sitting area in the ground floor, large sitting area in the upper floor, ideal for all family and dogs, right next to brean for hilly adventuries, 7,5 several wcs including 1 for the less capable of us. recommend the pasties and beautiful coffee."

"There was 8 family members with ages from 24 79, plus one dog. We had Sunday lunch. 2 x pork, 2 x beef, 3 x chicken and one nut roast. For desserts we had 3 x cheesecake, 2 x chocolate tarts and one sticky toffee pudding. We preordered our food and the communication was very good. All the staff were very friendly. The food was excellent, all the meals and desserts. An A* from everyone."

"Lovely food, shame they cannot get the orders correct. Every order we have ever had has been incorrectly served. Last year I collected order, took back to our holiday home (since 1977) rang the takeaway to tell them that a large cod was missing. I was told I was wrong and they were right. Eventually they reluctantly gave me the missing fish, which I collected 0.6 miles. This has happened on every order, I have not questioned it since as large value items were mostly correct on orders. Line person (female) on till has bagged and I believe processed the incorrect orders on all occasions. We do not get given an itemized receipt. My wife was with me this evening and we joked “ I wonder if the order will be right, we will repeat back when ready” He presto, order was for items including battered sausage. No! Battered sausage was I plain sausage. The food and the vibe when visiting this restaurant for collection is great and is obviously loved by locals, but why has every large order we have ever had been incorrectly served?"
