"7 of us had lunch today was very good eating. all came immediately, waitress always asked if everything is in order and if we wanted something else. everything was really well cooked, nothing a problem as in previous comments. highly recommended as a fun place to eat with a great atmosphere, in a beautiful building, will definitely come back."

"Fantastic from the start. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back. The Sunday lunch for Mother’s Day was beautifully cooked, the meat so tender and plentiful with vegetables to add and the roast potatoes were lovely . We went as a family with my 7 month old son and they were so accommodating with having a pushchair. Such a friendly place and a lovely environment. It’s a half way point for meeting family so an ideal location for us and such a beautiful village. The food is so reasonably priced too and we had a lovely day to remember for my first Mother’s Day. The barman was so friendly and helpful. Considering how busy the restaurant was, our food came quickly and the table service is excellent. We will definitely be back and thank you for such a lovely few hours."

"Honestly don’t know where to begin with this... Went to the Bull for some lunch with one other and ended up getting some food and a few drinks. All was well until after ordering our food we see the chef’s assistant walk around the side...of us with our frozen food in his BARE HANDS... this is vile and ridiculous especially during a Global Pandemic. Upon this we see him exit and sit outside with a drink and started putting his finger in his ears and mouth which completely put us off our food and we ended up leaving. It’s clear the staff here have had very minimal/no hygiene training as pandemic or not this has to be breaching so many contamination risks. Genuinely a scarring experience not just for this place but for eating out as a whole, I don’t think I’ll be having food from anywhere but my own kitchen for an awfully long time... EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!"

"Elegant, spacious wine bar. Very friendly, welcoming staff and great service. I had the most beautiful, individual steak and ale pie. This was served with a jug of gravy, buttery mash and a lovely selection of seasonal veg. The veg were beautifully cooked to retain both colour texture. I then followed with the most delicious dessert I have ever had. Honeycomb parfait served with pistachio brittle and boozy cherries. It was sublime."
